Obituary For Warren A. Innis
Warren A. Innis, 85, a lifelong resident of Peabody, passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He was the beloved husband of Aldyth (Moon) Innis with whom he shared 60 years of marriage.
He was born in Salem, MA on May 4, 1939 and was the cherished son of the late Ralph and Sarah (Geraghty) Innis.
Warren went to school in Peabody and in 1957 graduated from Peabody Vocational High School. He went on to study at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston. Warren started working in the family business of building new homes - mostly in Peabody. Warren was employed by the City of Peabody; first as a school custodian- then as a city maintenance man where he rose to the top position of facilities maintenance coordinator. Upon retirement he continued working managing rental properties. He enjoyed his work. He also enjoyed traveling, dining and boating with the family boat on Lake Winnipesaukee. He lived a full life. He was a great credit to the city and will be sorely missed by all that knew him.
In addition to his wife, Aldyth, Warren is survived by his son, Ralph Innis and his wife June of Peabody; his daughter, Robyn Innis of Ipswich; his great-grandchildren, Dominic and Sophia Otero.
Sadly, in addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Alvan Innis and his wife Grace.
His Funeral Service will be held at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at 10AM followed by his burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery in Peabody. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 5PM to 7PM.

Warren and I would meet at the Alacoya store. We enjoyed talking about construction, me with the Hewitt Bros. and him with his crew and the memories of all the good times. I will miss seeing him at the store.warren was one hell of a guy.

They say that "good fences make good neighbors" but in the case of Warren and Aldyth, it was more like "good people make good neighbors." We have known them both for the past seventeen years as our neighbors here in Big Pine Key, every time they would come down to their winter vacation home. Warren and I would chat over our fence while our wives would share coffee. We'd all catch up on life while enjoying paradise. He will be missed. Rest easy, sir. We've got this for you.

Our condolences... I will remember Warren every time (we) trim and clean up the bushes between us. I was always amazed he had more energy than me. What a great neighbor! We are sorry for your loss, Ralph, Aldith, and Robbin. Glenn and Krista

Peabody has lost a true treasure of a man. I`ve known for close to fifty years and not once did i ever hear him talk down about anybody. He always asked how my family was doing and he meant it. My Condolences to his family. Aldyth, Ralph and his wife June and his daughter Robyn. I will truly miss our conversations and his big smile .. May He Rest in Peace !!!
