Chia-ying Lin is currently studying at the Conservatoire de Musique de Montréal in the class of Marjolaine Goulet. Originally from Taiwan, she began playing piano at the age of 10 and horn at the age of 15. Lin received her Graduate Diploma at Mcgill University, and her Master’s degree at University of Texas at Austin . As an orchestra player,Lin has been touring Europe and USA with the Asian Youth Orchestra as a representative of Taiwan. She has also been invited as an extra and substitutehorn in several professional orchestra in both Taiwan and Canada.
